So it has been a super long time since I have blogged anything even though it has been at the top of my 'To do' list for a while now. I could not be happier to have this as my first post back; my buddy and talented artist LK's solo exhibition at 'Black Penny' in the Surry Hills of Sydney. His work is a crazy mix of mediums with spray paint, textas, paper cutouts and the use of different found objects including surfboards, chairs and ply wood. As a whole this body of work is one that is an obvious reflection of pop culture, both it's highlights and pitfalls and really shows that LK is more than just a sticker crazed snail man.
